1 – THE PLACE
Borgo Paradiso will be built in the municipality of Valfabbrica, Umbria, along the Franciscan Road going from Assisi to Gubbio.
Easily accessible, it is about 13 km from Assisi (15 minutes), 25 Km from Perugia (25 minutes), 30 Km from Gubbio (40 minutes).

The other beautiful historical cities of Umbria (Todi, Foligno, Spoleto, Spello, Bevagna) are reached by car in about 30 minutes.
2 – HOW TO GET THERE
BY CAR :
A – From the A1 "Autostrada del Sole Milano – Roma":
1 -Arriving from Northern Italy, exit at Foiano della Chiana, go along the junction to Perugia and you enter the E45 (highway Rome – Ravenna) direction Cesena, exit near Perugia, exit Ancona – Valfabbrica .
2 – Arriving from Central and Southern Italy's exit at Orte and places us in the E45 towards Perugia – Cesena and exit near Perugia, exit Ancona – Valfabbrica.
At the end of the fitting Ancona – Valfabbrica; to reach Borgo Paradiso proceed towards Valfabbrica and after about 8 km of road, at the village, it turns along the Franciscan Road and is run through 2 Km.
B – From the Adriatic highway (Bologna – Ancona – Bari):
1 – Exit at Macerata for those coming from the south, along the road leading to the pass of Colfiorito, continue towards Foligno and then arrive at Assisi; at the foot of the Basilica of San Francesco, you enter the Franciscan Road, after 9 km you will find Borgo Paradiso.
2 – Exit at Ancona, proceed towards Fabriano, arrive in Gubbio, continue towards Gualdo Tadino and take the street that leads directly to Valfabbrica; arrived at the village take the Franciscan Road.
3 – exit at Fano, drive towards Rome, get to Gubbio and then proceed as described above.
BY PLANE :
The regional airport of Sant'Egidio is about 10 Km.
ON THE TRAIN :
The nearest railway station is Assisi.
3 – THE ENVIRONMENT
Located in the heart of the rolling hills of Umbria, the site on which will be built Borgo Paradiso is located at a height of 550 ml s.l.m., on a plot surrounded by a natural green and pristine environment.
Near the Franciscan Road there is a walkway that runs a few meters from the village, called the Path of Peace or Franciscan Trail, starting from the Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi up to Gubbio, then onward to the Verna, the path full of charm that attracts many tourists who visit the sites that used San Francesco.
At about 2 km away is the town of Valfabbrica, amidst all the primary services: pharmacy, post office, bank, shops, bars, restaurants.
The town of Assisi, only 13 km away also offers all the services, including the hospital.
In the same area stands the farm Le Torracce that has been running since 1996 and over the years he has specialized in the field of holistic tourism, becoming a national and international reference point.
4 – DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPLEX
Borgo Paradiso is a holistic eco village from having to build, designed on the planimetric and distributive scheme of the old villages of Umbria.
Umbria with its nature, its history and its culture, has always attracted a tourism linked to nature, art and the particular geographic location of the complex, center of gravity compared to the major art cities of the region, makes l ' entire structure particularly interesting right from the tourism point of view.
Borgo Paradiso, can offer itself to become one of the "wellness centers" the most important and prestigious Italian, developing activities and services related to the holistic world, that of the physical well-being, to the training and personal and spiritual growth.
The urban destination provides the opportunity to realize accommodations such as hotels, hotel, holiday apartments, holiday homes, and anything else related to tourism activity in general.
The proposed project, subject to change, includes the construction of buildings composed of one and two bedroom apartments, rooms and common rooms for the meetings of the community.
The village also includes a service center which will host activities related to natural therapies to aesthetic ones, the development of creativity and harmonious evolution of man, as well as a multipurpose room of 400 square meters and a building intended as a restaurant.
The extent of land, about 40,000.00 square meters, also allows the creation of spaces for children, the possibility of allocating part of the area in organic production, the possibility of making outdoor sports facilities (pool, tennis, archery archery, bowls, etc.) and leisure facilities (walks, equipped routes in the woods, etc.).
5 – THE VILLAGE
The project is essentially composed of two blocks: the village and the service center.

All the buildings are made according to the principles of green building in order to create a harmonious environment, free of all the environmental factors of psycho-physical disorder (electromagnetic fields, geopathic zones, etc.).
The village is constituted by a series of buildings, made of exposed stone or simply plastered, intended for a residential and tourist use.
6 – THE CENTER SERVICES
Located downstream of the village, it is a structure on three floors to house all services of the center.
It will consist of spaces in public areas, restaurant, meeting rooms, rooms for holistic activities, facilities for development of creativity, spaces for the body and mind.
The service center will also consist of a wellness area with the construction of swimming pools and individual baths for therapeutic activity in hot water, completed by the wetland consists hammam, sauna, jacuzzi.
7 – PHILOSOPHY AND GOALS OF THE PROJECT
The peace of the place, the magical energy of this land, the beauty of a region with rich historical city of art and culture and the activities that are going to carry out, promote a lifestyle geared primarily to the psychological and physical well being.
The spirit of the project is to create a harmonious and serene environment, it lived in the natural and ecological respect for the land.
The goal is to create a community that can live in this place with a new philosophy of life, developing research and training for humans and the environment.
It will be developed research and teaching of psycho – physical, applying the study and teaching of holistic disciplines and natural medicines.
From the point of view of tourism, which is a strong working potential, the aim of the complex is to meet the various requirements:
1 – To the growing demands of environmental tourism and art that characterizes the territorial reality Umbra;
2 – At activities related to the holistic world, strong growth, but that encounters limits in the accommodation that, in most cases, buildings are reconverted to this use, but not functional for this purpose.
3 – The activities related to vocational training and business;
4 – For small conference activities;
5 – The activities related to the welfare of the body and spirit.
While in the first case the tourist demand is concentrated in a seasonal period from April to September, the other sectors covering a request that also extends to the autumn and winter period.
8 – BUILDING FEATURES
All difici will be earthquake resistant and manufactured according to the principles of ecological design with particular attention to the environment and landscape.
Particular attention will be paid to the use of alternative energy by focusing energy independence of the whole complex; the buildings will be made in class A.
It will be developed on the treatment and composting of organic waste and particular attention will be paid to the recovery of rainwater.
all the devices will be adopted to limit the electromagnetic and the acoustic pollution.
9 – PROJECT DESTINATIONS
The permissible destinations are as follows:
holiday apartments, holiday homes, studios, rooms, hotel, conference and meeting rooms, small commercial shops for the sale and processing of local products, small workshops, reception, administrative and commercial offices linked to the activity of the complex;
hotel restaurant, pizzeria, pubs and entertainment venues, bars and café, conference rooms, wellness center, beauty salon, massage and medical care related to health and well-being of the body, the center for physical activities, bar, travel agency, hotel residence for entertainment and game rooms, exhibition halls.
However, they will be admitted all destinations related to the tourist accommodation sector, the connected services, leisure, sport and leisure.
